Sylvia Elaine NeSmith

Mrs. Sylvia Elaine NeSmith, 60, of Metter, died Saturday evening September 22, 2018 at her residence; surrounded by her loving family. Mrs NeSmith was previously employed by McDonalds and Burger King, a substitute teacher for Candler County Board of Education, for a year. She did accounting work for Mr. Carl Daughtry, and worked for Haney Farms for several years. Her favorite job was being a housewife, she loved taking care of her extended family, children and grandchildren.

Mrs. NeSmith was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, by only eleven days. Also, proceeding Mrs. NeSmith in death were her parents John Wesley and Maudie Barker Frost and a brother John E. Frost.

Mrs. NeSmith is survived by three sons Leslie Heath, Paul (Katie) NeSmith, Daniel Cordero Jr., and, six daughters Melissa Cordero, Missy (Julian Vera) Sanchez, Jessica (Kenneth) Lee, Sharon (David) Hudson, Amber (Roberto) Landero, Nita Cordero, Rhonda (Alex) Diakogiannis. and 12 beautiful grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.

Also, surviving Mrs. NeSmith are 4sisters Angela (Cohen) Kitchens,of Statesboro, Diane (Clayton) Bell,of Brooklet, Dorthy (Billy) Gillespie,of Statesboro, Lynette Galicia, of Statesboro and two brothers, Jack Frost, of Statesboro, and Gary (Cindy) Frost, of Leefield.

Pallbearers will be Mike NeSmith, Greg NeSmith, Michael Bruner, James Bell, Carlos Olarte, Frankie Carter.

Honorary Pallbearers are Tristan and Dylan Frost

Visitation for Mrs. NeSmith will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the funeral home from 6_8 pm.

And the funeral will be Wednesday, September 26, at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Lake Cemetery
