Vernon Emmitt Cobb

Mr. Vernon Emmitt Cobb, 84, of Metter died on Wednesday April 29, 2020 at Candler County Hospital after a brief illness. He was a retired farmer and attended Salem Baptist Church.. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Grace, the mother of his children,his parents, several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Coleen Cobb. Sons, Perry Cobb, Bruce Cobb and Ricky Way. Daughters, Renae Cook and Deborah Walker. Sister, Doris Beasley.

Fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 3,2020 at 2pm.at Cool Springs Cemetery with Rev. Michael Williams officiating

All requirements for the corona virus must be observed. At the family visitation, no more than ten people allowed in the building at a time. All distance requirements of six feet must also be observed at all times, including at the cemetery.
