Vondelle B (Boyles) Monroe

Mrs. Vondelle Boyles Monroe, 83, of Metter died on Feb. 1,2021 at Ogeechee Area

Hospice in Statesboro. She was the daughter of the late Melvin and Bena Sue Collins McCullough. She was preceded in death by her first husband, C.W. Boyles.

Sons, Melvin Boyles and Michael Boyles, grand daughters, Tonya Boyles and Denise

Boyles. She is survived by her husband William Monroe of Metter Sons Larry Boyles

of Brooklet and Mark Boyles of Metter. Sisters Janelle Malon of Savannah and Mammie Jones of Newington. Sixteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 at 11am in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie McCullough officiating. Burial will be in Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Hobby, Andrew Boyles, Patrick Boyles, Tim Miller, Robbie Jones, Chad Boyles and Ramond McCullough.Visitation will be on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021 also at Wood Funeral Home from 6-8pm. Arrangements by Wood Funeral Home of Metter.
