In Loving Memory
Mr Wallace James Coursey, 76, of Metter died on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Pleasant View Nursing Center under the care of Affinis Hospice.
Born in Manassas, the son of the late Henry Estus and Emma Mae Cobb Coursey, he was a retired farmer. A member of Anchor Worship Center were he served as a Deacon for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by brothers, Wilton Coursey and Willis Coursey. Sister, Evelyn Cooper.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Coursey of Metter. Son. Daniel
“ Danny” ( Donna ) Coursey of Vidalia. Daughters, Marilyn ( Steve) Horn and Jan ( Rusty )Kangeter both of Metter.
Brother, Lee Walden Coursey of Statesboro. Sisters, Mae Jean Johnson and Mary Alice “Polly”Sims both of Richmond Hill. Twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 27, 2018 from 5-8pm. at
Anchor Worship Center.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 28,2018
2pm. at Anchor Worship Center.
Rev. Jessie Goodman officiating.
Burial in Cool Springs Cemetery.
Wood Funeral Home of Metter is in charge of arrangements.
