Wynell Jackson Boatright

Ms. Wynell Jackson Boatright, 91, of Savannah passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Memorial Health University, in Savannah. Ms. Wynell was born on January 24, 1932, to Mr. Julius Emory Jackson, Sr. and Carrie Lou Thurmond in Candler County.

Wynell was preceded in death by her parents, a son Randy Boatright, a grandson Randall Brad Boatright, also preceding her in death were four brothers, Oscar Franklin Pierson, James Thomas Jackson, Julius Emory Jackson Jr., and Johnny Lamar Jackson.

She is survived by a daughter in law Debbie Boatright, a granddaughter Tiffany P. (Jason) Somers, a great granddaughter, Grace Perry, a great grandson Jake Perry, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted Wednesday May 3, 2023, at 11 am in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
