Mr. James Lamar Clanton Sr. 86 of Collins, formerly

of Cobbtown died on June 20,2016 in Vidalia at Community Hospice after a short illness. He was retired from St.Regis Paper Co. in Jacksonville

after over thirty years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Collins Clanton and his parents. George Dewey and Mayme Farris Clanton Sr.

He is survived by a son, James Lamar ( Sheri)Clanton Jr of Waycross; grandson, Matthew Clanton of Jacksonville and caregivers, Sharon and Eric Mack of Collins.

Funeral Services June 23, 2016 at 11am. In the

chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Owen

Waters officiating. Burial in Sunlight Cemetery in

Cobbtown.
